Hero Series MTB

This past weekend I headed back out to Cheyenne State park once again for the Hero series MTB race put on by Ft. Carson. The basic layout was the same as last weekend only backwards. Had a great time battling it out with Cam Chambers the entire time, barely staying ahead despite Cameron's attempts at jumping over/through rock gardens for the pass. Really reminded me of the old "Blanket Series" races back home where everyone from all ages/abilities would just show up and tear around a short course for an hour just enjoying being on the mountain bikes! Next race will be in 2 weeks when I head back to the homeland for the Kansas Fat Tire Fest at Wilson Lake! If you haven't ever ridden there, you're wrong.
